The IWC Pilot's Watch Double Chronograph Top Gun is the split-seconds chronograph of IWC's Top Gun collection, reference IW379901, introduced in 2007. Its substantial 46 mm case is black ceramic with a titanium caseback and titanium pushers, housing a soft-iron inner case for antimagnetic protection. The black dial carries a day-and-date display and a rattrapante, or split-seconds, chronograph: a second centre hand can be halted to read an intermediate time, then caught up to the running hand. It is powered by the automatic calibre 79230 with about a 44-hour reserve and rated to 60 m. The ceramic-and-titanium build makes it one of the toughest chronographs in the Pilot's range.
