The IWC Pilot's Watch Mark XVIII Edition "Le Petit Prince" is the blue-dial special edition of the Mark XVIII, reference IW327016, from 2016. It shares the Mark's clean 40 mm stainless steel case, soft-iron antimagnetic inner case and utilitarian three-hand layout (a triangle marker at twelve, Arabic numerals and a date at three), but swaps the standard black dial for a sunburst midnight blue, the signature of IWC's blue-dial special-edition series. Silver-tone luminous hands and a sapphire crystal secured against drops in air pressure complete it, driven by the self-winding calibre 35111 with a 42-hour reserve and rated to 60 m. A specially engraved caseback distinguishes the edition from the base model. (Watchmaxx)
