The Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Mariner is the dive watch Jaeger-LeCoultre built from 1967 in an EPSA Super Compressor case, its two crosshatched crowns at two and four o'clock turning an inner rotating bezel and setting the time, with a black dial, a date at three and the automatic calibre K883 in a 36.5 mm steel case rated to 200 metres; the reference E558 is known to collectors as the Deep Sea Master Mariner or Barracuda, and about 1,532 examples were made before production ended in the early 1970s.
