The Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Réserve de Marche is a member of the Master Control family distinguished by the arc-shaped power-reserve indicator running across its dial, descending from the manufacture's long-standing focus on power-reserve mechanisms since the Master Control line's 1992 introduction. Steel Master Control-era executions such as reference 148.84.04 and the brown-strap 148.84.70 ran a 37 mm case on JLC's automatic Caliber 976; the line has since been superseded in JLC's current catalog by the differently cased Master Ultra Thin Réserve de Marche.
