The MTM Falcon is a tactical light-watch from MTM, the Los Angeles maker of special-operations timepieces, in the Black DLC titanium reference FBSSNYBKMTM. Its 44 mm titanium case is 14 mm thick and finished in black diamond-like carbon, with a black dial, Super-LumiNova markers, a unidirectional ratcheting bezel and a sapphire crystal, sealed to 100 m. It runs an MTM-proprietary 8J81-M4 quartz movement fed by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery rated at ten years, which also drives a two-part LED lighting system: three external white LEDs plus an internal dial light. The built-in illumination array is the Falcon's defining feature, making it a wristwatch and a signalling flashlight in one titanium package. (MTM)
