A Mido watch is a watch made by the Swiss manufacturer founded in Biel in 1918 by Georges Schaeren, its name from the Spanish yo mido ("I measure"). Now part of the Swatch Group, Mido is known for the shock-resistant, self-winding Multifort introduced in 1934 and the dive watches of its Ocean Star line, most built around COSC-certified Powermatic 80 automatic calibers.
