The Omega Constellation Double Eagle Chronograph arrived in 2003 as the sportiest expression of the Constellation line, reference 1514.51.00 housing an automatic chronograph in a 41 mm stainless-steel case. It keeps the collection's signature "Manhattan" griffes, the two claws that grip the crystal at three and nine o'clock, along with a Roman-numeral bezel and an integrated bracelet. The black dial carries three chronograph sub-dials and a date at six, protected by sapphire crystal and rated to 100 m. Power comes from a COSC-certified automatic movement with Co-Axial escapement and roughly a 55-hour reserve. The Double Eagle gave the dressy Constellation a bolder, larger-cased profile. (Omega)
