The Omega Seamaster Diver 300M name has led Omega's dive-watch range since 1993, but the current execution dates to a 2018 relaunch for the line's 25th anniversary: the case grew from 41 to 42 mm to house the new in-house Co-Axial Master Chronometer Caliber 8800, a METAS-certified movement resistant to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss with a 55-hour reserve, beneath a polished-ceramic wave dial and a fully ceramic bezel insert filled with white enamel. Rated to 300 m/1,000 ft with a redesigned conical helium escape valve, it was also the first Seamaster Diver 300M generation to carry a sapphire display back, and it succeeded the wave-dial Seamaster Professional 300M that had used the caliber 2500 since 1993.
