The Omega Speedmaster Mark II "Rio 2016" Limited Edition, ref. 522.10.43.50.01.001 revives the angular tonneau case of the original 1969 Mark II in a 42.4 mm steel chronograph, produced in a run of 2,016 pieces to mark that year's Olympic Games. Its matte black dial carries three subdial rings finished in bronze, 18K yellow gold, and 925 silver to evoke the Olympic medal podium, with a fluorescent-orange tachymeter ring lit from beneath by Super-LumiNova. The self-winding Co-Axial calibre 3330 drives the column-wheel chronograph, and the steel case back is engraved with the Rio 2016 Olympic logo. (Omega)
