Omega Speedmaster ST105.003
More actions
The Omega Speedmaster ST105.003 is the pre-Professional reference Omega introduced in 1963, the last Speedmaster with straight lugs and no crown guards. Collectors call it the "Ed White," after the astronaut wore his own 105.003 over his suit during Gemini 4's 1965 spacewalk; it is also the exact reference that survived NASA's 1964–1965 qualification battery unmodified, the "Flight-Qualified For All Manned Space Missions" reference. Inside is the manual-winding, column-wheel Calibre 321, developed with Lemania. Omega supplied period-correct 105.003s as production props for First Man, dressing training scenes set before the Professional case existed. (Mostra Store; Worn & Wound)
