The Oris Carl Brashear Chronograph Limited Edition is the 2018 two-counter chronograph Oris dedicated to Carl Brashear, the U.S. Navy's first African American and first amputee Master Diver, in a run of 2,000. Based on the Divers Sixty-Five, it is cast in bronze, the metal of the diving equipment Brashear used: a 43 mm case, rotating bezel, crown and pushers, around a curved dark blue dial with no date. The steel caseback carries a diver's helmet and his line "It's not a sin to get knocked down, it's a sin to stay down". Calibre 771, based on the Sellita SW 510, made its first appearance at Oris here. (Time and Watches; Oris)
