The Patek Philippe Nautilus 5711 is the steel, time-and-date Nautilus introduced in 2006. Gérald Genta drew the original Nautilus in 1976 as a luxury sports watch in steel: the porthole-shaped case with its "ears" at the sides, the integrated bracelet, and the horizontally grooved dial. The 5711 carried that design from 2006, with the blue-dial 5711/1A-010 running from 2010 until Patek discontinued it in 2021. Earlier examples use caliber 324 S C; Patek fitted the successor caliber 26-330 S C to the 5711 from 2019.
