The RJ-Romain Jerome Batman-DNA Gotham City (reference RJ.T.AU.WB.001.02) is a 2016 automatic watch created with Warner Bros. Consumer Products, on behalf of DC Entertainment, limited to 75 pieces, a Baselworld follow-up to the 2014 Batman-DNA. The 46 mm black PVD-coated steel case shares the earlier model's faceted, Batmobile-inspired bezel and crocodile strap. Its dial adds a laser-engraved 3D map of Gotham City beneath a Batman-logo applique, glowing blue via Superluminova in darkness. The automatic RJ001-A runs at 28,800 vph, 42-hour reserve. Announced price: CHF 15,950 (US$19,500). (archived RJ-Romain Jerome product record, via Wayback Machine; aBlogtoWatch)
Created around DC's Batman generally, not any film, this is a partnership, not an appearance. aBlogtoWatch notes the case back reads "The Dark Knight Returns," after Frank Miller's graphic novel; RJ names no specific work, and its Baselworld timing beside Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is press-noted coincidence, not a brand tie.
