The RJ-Romain Jerome RJ X Hello Kitty Sparkle (reference RJ.M.AU.IN.023.03) is a 2017 automatic watch created with Sanrio and limited to 76 pieces, the diamond-set sibling of the base RJ X Hello Kitty. The Moon Invader-derived 40 mm steel case adds a bezel set with 70 diamonds around the same sand-blasted pixel dial and hand-lacquered Hello Kitty applique, on articulated ball-and-socket lugs. The self-winding Calibre RJ003 runs at 28,800 vibrations per hour with 42-hour power reserve. The announced price was CHF 12,222 (about US$12,300). RJ's own copy credits "Hello Kitty, a reigning pop icon since her creation in the mid-seventies," naming no single work. Created around Sanrio's Hello Kitty, it is an official product partnership rather than an appearance.
