The Rolex 3523 is a small ladies' dress watch with a solid 14-karat yellow-gold case and an integrated, mesh-textured bracelet. Right Time's photographed example has diamonds at the case shoulders, a champagne dial and an 18-jewel, manual-winding Rolex caliber 1400. The reference is documented from circa 1990 by that surviving example; the date is the dealer's estimate for the individual watch, not a claimed launch year. (Right Time) Its compact, dust-resistant case favors a jewellery-like profile over the waterproof Oyster construction of Rolex's sports watches.
