Fuji TV's Thursday-night adaptation of Yukari Koyama's manga follows Sato Shinohara (Tao Tsuchiya), who runs a modest neighborhood restaurant with her mother, as she becomes engaged to Kenta Miyama (Kouhei Matsushita), the second son of a 400-year-old family fortune. Tae Kimura plays Kumi Miyama, Kenta's mother, whose fierce objection to the match drives the family's clash over status and tradition; Ken Ishiguro plays Makoto Banno, a family associate drawn into the ensuing conflict.
