The Rolex GMT-Master 16753 is the two-tone steel-and-gold execution of the GMT-Master that Rolex introduced around 1980 alongside the all-steel 16750, both replacing the 1675 with the line's first quickset date function. The reference pairs a steel case and Oyster bracelet with 18k gold bezel, crown guards and center bracelet links, most commonly fitted with a black-and-gold "root beer" or black bezel insert over Rolex's automatic movement.
