The Rolex Oyster Perpetual 1002 is a 34 mm no-date Oyster Perpetual Rolex produced from 1959 into the early 1980s, sold in steel, two-tone, and gold with a smooth bezel and a choice of silver, gilt, "mirror," or other dial finishes; this plain silver execution, with applied stick markers and the "Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified" signature beneath the running seconds, is among the reference's most common configurations, distinct from the glossy grey "mirror" dial variant also cataloged here.
