Kaban-ya no Souzoku (かばん屋の相続) is a 2025 WOWOW anthology special adapting four of Jun Ikeido's short stories about bank and credit-union employees confronting fraud, debt, and difficult loyalties. Keita Machida leads the first episode, "Juunenme no Kurisumasu" ("The Tenth Christmas"), as bank investigator Shinji Nagashima, who quietly looks into a former client he spots living well a decade after his company's loan-fueled collapse. The third episode, "Sales Talk," stars Atsushi Ito as loan officer Yukihiko Kitamura, suspicious of how a printing-company president raised five million yen without the bank's help. The title episode, "Kaban-ya no Souzoku," follows credit-union employee Taro Ogura as a bag-company patriarch's will hands the business to the son who left banking rather than the one who stayed; Sho Ikushima plays Sho Moriwaki, the new executive backing that son.
