Rolex Oysterquartz Datejust 17013
More actions
The Rolex Oysterquartz Datejust 17013 is the two-tone execution of the in-house-quartz Datejust Rolex built after walking away from the shared Beta 21 consortium movement, running the same temperature-adjusted, chronometer-certified calibre 5035 as the all-steel 17000. Its 36 mm steel-and-18k-yellow-gold case carries a fluted gold bezel and an integrated Oysterquartz bracelet, distinguishing it from the smooth-bezel steel 17000 and the white-gold-bezel 17014. Rolex kept the Oysterquartz Datejust line in production from 1977 into the 1990s. (Bob's Watches) Jackroad's costume-loan archive credits Yoshihiko Inohara with a 17013 in Life for Sale, though the character he played is unconfirmed. (Jackroad)
