Seiko VIVANT Original Watch

The Seiko VIVANT Original Watch is a 300-piece limited chronograph Seiko produced through its corporate Original Watch Production Service to mark the second season of TBS's VIVANT. The 39.2 by 47.2 mm black-plated steel case and matching bracelet carry a black dial with red accents on the automatic-style quartz Calibre 7T92, a tachymeter scale, a 1/20-second, 12-hour chronograph, and a date window; Lumibrite luminous paint lights the hands and the 12, 3, 6, and 9 indices in the dark. The dial's centerpiece layers the Nogi family crest and the "Tent" organization's own hexagonal mark, deliberately overlapping rather than resolved, evoking the show's central mystery over the two groups' relationship; a small "Bekkan" (Separate Unit) mark, introduced with the second season, sits in the six-o'clock chronograph subdial. Seiko Watch's own designer Umamiya and VIVANT producer Kazutaka Iida discuss the piece's design choices in an interview conducted on the show's own yurt set. (Oricon News; TBS Shopping)
Sold exclusively through TBS's own online store at ¥62,000, the run of 300 individually serial-numbered pieces (engraved on the caseback alongside the VIVANT logo) sold out; TBS Shopping's own listing confirms it is no longer available. (TBS Shopping)
