The TAG Heuer Professional 3000 was the premium sports line that sat above the 2000 series. Heuer introduced the collection in 1984, before the TAG Group's 1985 purchase, and dial variants of the era exist in both older Heuer and newer TAG Heuer signatures. (TAG Heuer) The chronograph execution seen on John McClane pairs a gunmetal dial with three subdials and a date, a twelve-sided fixed bezel, and a 200 m case, driven by the quartz Calibre 185 with a Dubois-Dépraz 2000 module.
