The Tissot Heritage 1973 is Tissot's reissue chronograph, launched in 2019 and modelled on the Tissot Navigator that anchored the brand's motor-racing partnerships from 1973 onward. It carries the tonneau-shaped steel case of its 1970s source in a modern 43 mm width, with mushroom-shaped pushers, a panda or reverse-panda tri-register dial, and an automatic cam-lever chronograph movement built on the Valjoux 7753. (Monochrome) Montres de Luxe notes that a 43 mm chronograph of this kind did not exist in 1981, the year OSS 117's third film is set, and reads the anachronism as a deliberate choice for on-screen visibility over period accuracy.
