Tudor Submariner 75190
More actions
The Tudor Submariner 75190 is the 36 mm "midsize" companion Tudor introduced alongside the full-size reference 79190 in 1995, popularly nicknamed the "Boy Size" or "Boys" Submariner because no equivalent case size existed on a contemporary Rolex Submariner. (Oliver & Clarke) Like its full-size sibling it introduced a sapphire crystal to the Tudor Submariner line for the first time, retaining a matte black tritium dial and handset, a uni-directional black aluminum bezel insert with a tritium pip, and drilled lug holes, and was produced through 2001 with dial and bezel executions distinguished by an A, B, or N suffix. Byun Yo-han wears the reference as David Kim, a Korean intelligence operative, in The Sun Does Not Move (2021), per Jackroad's costume-loan archive of the production. (Jackroad)
