The Tutima Chronograph Flieger F2 is a steel pilot's chronograph descended from Tutima's 1941 Flieger chronograph, the German air force's wartime-standard timepiece, revived once West German production resumed in Ganderkesee. It keeps that lineage's coin-edged bidirectional bezel and screwed crown on a roughly 38.5 mm case, running a Valjoux 7750 base. (Wikipedia) The F2 worn by Al Pacino's Rooster Fisk in Righteous Kill (2008) came with an unusual coda: Tutima had agreed to pay distributor Overture Films a reported $50,000 fee, plus $1,000,000 in tied advertising, for the placement, then used the film in its own marketing without the actors' consent, and De Niro and Pacino sued both companies in 2009; the case settled on undisclosed terms in 2010.
