UNDONE Popeye El Capitan
The UNDONE Popeye El Capitan is the navy half of UNDONE's licensed Popeye collection, a 300-piece Basecamp diver sold under the storefront handle popeye-el-capitan in a campaign whose assets date to September 7, 2020. Popeye stands in the centre of the dial, corncob pipe in mouth, with his muscular arms serving as the hour and minute hands; the block indices, navy colourway and beige numerals on the bezel follow the "Marine Nationale" dive watches issued to French Navy divers between the 1950s and 1970s. It introduced UNDONE's first flat three-link "Oyster"-style steel bracelet, fitted with the brand's quick-release bars.
