The Vacheron Constantin Patrimony is the Genevan maison's round dress line, launched under that name in 2004 and drawn deliberately from the maker's own 1950s references rather than from a general idea of mid-century design. Almost everything about it is a subtraction: a thin bezel-less-looking case in white, yellow or pink gold or platinum, a slightly domed dial, applied faceted baton markers, and a minute track printed as a fine "pearl" ring of dots at the edge. The Patrimony Contemporaine runs Vacheron's ultra-thin hand-wound calibre 1400 in a case just over 6 mm thick; automatic, small-seconds, retrograde and perpetual-calendar variants sit alongside it.
