The Vostok Komandirskie ("commander's watch") is the military line the Vostok factory in Chistopol has built since 1965, when it became an official supplier to the Soviet Ministry of Defence. The classic recipe is a compact chromed case, a friction-turned bezel, a hand-wound 17-jewel movement of the 2414A family with date, and emblem dials issued in service themes: tanks, ships, and the airborne-forces parachute flanked by a red star, the sunburst-green version of which appears in Severance. References combine a three-digit case number with a dial code, and Soviet-era dials read "Сделано в СССР" at six o'clock; the line continues in production today as one of the cheapest true military-heritage mechanicals.
