The Stocker & Yale 490 is an American military-issue field watch, produced by Stocker & Yale of Salem, New Hampshire to US military specification MIL-W-46374, with a black dial, tritium-tube hour markers and a fixed-lug composite case. It entered production around 1989 as the successor to the maker's Stocker & Yale 184A after that watch's tritium markers were found to be more radioactive than intended, and it served as a general-issue SANDY-series field watch through the 1990s before Stocker & Yale's watch business wound down.
