Released as Guy Ritchie's The Covenant. During the war in Afghanistan, a local interpreter risks his own life to carry an injured sergeant across miles of grueling terrain. Directed by Guy Ritchie and released in 2023, it sets Jake Gyllenhaal's Master Sergeant John Kinley and Dar Salim's interpreter Ahmed against a 2018 Special Forces deployment hunting Taliban munitions, then follows Kinley back to the United States as he tries to extract the man who saved him.
