Diego Maradona (1960 to 2020) was an Argentine footballer widely regarded as one of the greatest players in the sport's history, captaining Argentina to the 1986 World Cup title and starring for Barcelona and Napoli during a trophy-laden club career. (Wikipedia) He later managed the Argentine national team, and Serbian director Emir Kusturica made him the subject of the 2008 documentary Maradona by Kusturica, in which he appears as himself.
