Joaquim de Almeida (born 1957, Lisbon) is a Portuguese actor who built an English-language career playing suave, morally ambiguous authority figures, notably the drug lord Moco in Robert Rodriguez's Desperado and Ramon Escobar in Harrison Ford's Clear and Present Danger.
