Joe Pesci (born February 9, 1943) is an American actor from Newark, New Jersey, who began as a child performer before Robert De Niro brought him to Martin Scorsese's attention for Raging Bull (1980). He won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for Goodfellas (1990) and is also known for My Cousin Vinny (1992), the Home Alone films, and accountant-turned-informant Leo Getz in the Lethal Weapon sequels.
