Masao Kusakari (born September 5, 1952, in Yukuhashi, Fukuoka) is a Japanese actor who began his career as a fashion model before joining Toho in 1974. His taiga drama roles, notably in Sanada Maru (2016), earned him a Best Supporting Actor award at the 2017 Tokyo Drama Awards, and he later drew renewed attention through the 2019 asadora Natsuzora. He plays widowed pianist Fuyuki Kanda in A Man and His Cat. (Wikipedia)
