Noriko Eguchi is a Japanese film and television actress born 28 April 1980, who joined the Tokyo Kandenchi theater troupe in 2000 and made her film debut in Takashi Miike's Shangri-La (2002) before landing her first starring role in Moon and Cherry (2004). Long known for sharp-edged supporting and character work, she won her first network primetime lead in Super Rich (2021), playing self-made publishing CEO Mamoru Hyoga, and took the 2021 Tokyo Drama Award for Best Supporting Actress the same year.
