Hanzawa Naoki (半沢直樹) is a TBS "Sunday Theater" (日曜劇場) drama adapting Jun Ikeido's series of bank-set corporate novels. Masato Sakai stars as Naoki Hanzawa, a Tokyo Central Bank loan officer who repeatedly uncovers his superiors' corruption and refuses to be made their scapegoat, closing out confrontations with his catchphrase "yarareta ra yarikaesu, baigaeshi da": "if you're struck, strike back, double." The first season aired ten episodes from 7 July to 22 September 2013 and became one of the highest-rated dramas in Japanese television history, its finale drawing a 42.2% audience share in the Kanto region. Independently of either, myfavoritegoods.net reports a SEIKO logo visible in a wrist close-up during episode 3's password-compromise scene, without citing or linking either retail source: it places an actual SEIKO on Hanzawa's wrist at a specific, describable moment rather than resting on brand-marketing copy alone. A Taiwanese PTT `watch`-board reply (2020-12-30, thread `M.1609298155.A.9C9.html`) separately, and without reference to any Japanese source, names "the barrel-shaped SPB049J1, the one with the 6R movement" as the drama's on-screen watch; SPB049J1 is the international-market reference for the identical model Seiko sells domestically as SARX051: the same 35.9mm tonneau case, white enamel dial, and 6R15 caliber, per multiple dealer listings that cross-reference both numbers for one watch, so this is independent corroboration under the watch's export reference, not a rival identification of a second watch.
