Ryo Ishibashi is a Japanese actor and musician born 20 July 1956 in Kurume, Fukuoka Prefecture, known internationally for starring roles in the horror films Audition (1999), Suicide Club (2001), and The Grudge (2004) and its sequel, as well as for fronting the rock band ARB since 1977. He plays Masaaki Fukuura, the father of Tao Tsuchiya's character, in the 2021 thriller Melancholy. (Wikipedia)
