Passing the Reins (ザ・ロイヤルファミリー) is a ten-episode TBS "Sunday Theater" drama that aired from October 12 to December 14, 2025, adapting Kazumasa Hayami's novel of the same name. Satoshi Tsumabuki stars as Eiji Kurisu, a tax accountant who loses faith in his career after a professional setback until a chance meeting with racehorse owner Kozo Sanno (Koichi Sato) draws him into the world of horse racing across a twenty-year story; Ren Meguro and Wakana Matsumoto co-star.
