Toshio Kakei (born 10 August 1962 in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka) is a Japanese actor active since 1982, a graduate of Osaka University of Arts. He is best known for playing detective Kentaro Shinjo across the Bayside Shakedown film and television franchise from 1997 onward, and has appeared in Dr. Coto's Clinic and the taiga dramas Ryomaden and Naotora: The Lady Warlord. He plays the title fugitive chef in 逃亡料理人ワタナベ (2019). (Wikipedia)
