The IWC Round 2400 is a slim, round-cased dress watch IWC produced through the early-to-mid 1970s, built around the manual-winding Caliber 403, a 17-jewel movement with a straight-line lever escapement and rhodium-plated finishing that IWC used across several entry-level references of the period. The 34 mm two-body case, offered in steel or gold, is fitted with a satin silvered dial, applied faceted baton indexes, and a plain sweep-seconds display, a design collectors sometimes nickname the "Disco Volante" for its clean, saucer-like dial. Jackroad's costume-loan archive credits Toshio Kakei's chef Toshio Watanabe with the reference in 逃亡料理人ワタナベ, the fugitive-cook comedy co-produced for Japanese and Chinese streaming platforms.
