Wai Ying-hung (惠英紅, also romanized Kara Wai), of Manchu descent, rose to prominence in Shaw Brothers wuxia films of the 1970s and 1980s, including The Brave Archer (1977) and My Young Auntie (1981). A three-time Hong Kong Film Award Best Actress winner, for At the End of Daybreak (2009) among others, she plays a Hong Kong police officer in My People, My Country (2019). (Wikipedia)
