Don Mann and Ralph Pezzullo's third SEAL Team Six novel sends team leader Thomas Crocker after Farhed Alizadeh, the Iranian Quds Force officer code-named the Falcon, a hunt that lands Crocker in a hospital at Puerto Iguazu on the Argentine side of the falls. Suunto watch: In a snowbound firefight Crocker reads 1642 hours off his Suunto GPS watch and reckons on an hour of daylight. It was a present from his wife Holly, and he learns in an Argentine hospital bed that it was smashed when his truck rolled. The maker is named; the model is not.

Luminox Navy SEAL: Waking bandaged in the hospital at Puerto Iguazu with his wrist bare, Crocker finds a black Luminox Colormark 3050 Series left on the bedside table. He judges it less tricked out than his Suunto but rugged and water resistant, with a bezel, hands and markers that glow continuously.
