- Doxa SUB 300
- Pitt's orange-dial Doxa is a recurring series signature; Doxa later tied its Clive Cussler editions directly to Sahara and the Dirk Pitt books. The film adaptation carries the orange-dial Doxa into a visual-media appearance, changing the exact watch to a SUB 600T Professional.
Source text: Exact wording has not yet been verified. The series association and film adaptation do not establish the novel's exact watch; a watch-identifying passage from Sahara needs an edition locator.
