Worn by Matthew McConaughey as Dirk Pitt. The watch came with the character: Dirk Pitt has worn an orange-dial Doxa across Cussler's novels, a tradition the author traces to a SUB 300T he received as a farewell gift from a dive-shop job before his writing career. The production used a Clive Cussler-edition SUB 600T Professional, number 490/3000, clearest when Pitt scans the horizon through a borrowed rifle scope; a non-functional duplicate covered the stunt work.
