Bakudan ("Bomb") is a 2025 Japanese thriller directed by Satoshi Nagai, adapting Katsuhiro Go's award-winning novel. Yuki Yamada stars as Ruika, a Metropolitan Police Department detective facing down a self-styled bomber, Suzuki Tagosaku (Jiro Sato), who taunts investigators with cryptic predictions of each next explosion from inside an interrogation room. Sairi Ito, Shota Sometani, Ryuta Bando, Kanichiro, Chinatsu Kataoka, Masaya Kato, Bokuzo Shomei, Yui Natsukawa, and Atsuro Watabe round out the cast. The film opened in Japanese theaters on 31 October 2025. (Oricon)
