Worn by Eddie Murphy as Axel Foley. Foley wears a black-coated TAG Heuer 2000-series quartz diver, a deliberately functional sport watch against a city built on status. By 1987 the line was branded TAG Heuer, following the 1985 merger with Techniques d'Avant Garde. A watch-spotting identification reports the mid-size PVD reference 256.006, but the frame does not resolve an exact reference; the black-coated 2000 Professional execution is as far as the visible evidence goes.
