Steven Soderbergh's second half of his two-part Ernesto "Che" Guevara biopic, released as Guerrilla in some markets. Benicio del Toro reprises Guevara as he leads a doomed 1966–67 guerrilla campaign in Bolivia, isolated by desertions, betrayal from the Bolivian Communist Party, and CIA-backed government forces, ending in his capture and execution. The film premiered at Cannes on 21 May 2008, where del Toro won Best Actor, before IFC Films released it in the United States on 12 December 2008. (Wikipedia)
