Hope (Japanese title Nozomi) is a 2020 Japanese thriller directed by Yukihiko Tsutsumi, adapted from Shusuke Shizukui's novel. Shinichi Tsutsumi stars as architect Kazuto Ishikawa, whose family life unravels after his teenage son goes missing on the day a classmate is found murdered, leaving Kazuto and his wife Kiyomi (Yuriko Ishida) uncertain whether their son is a victim or a suspect. The film also stars Kenshi Okada, Kaya Kiyohara, and Masaya Kato, and was released theatrically on October 9, 2020. (TMDB)
