Hublot Big Bang
Worn by Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark. Worn through the opening Afghanistan sequence: as Stark shelters behind a rock during the convoy ambush, a steel-cased sports watch with a rich blue dial and chunky screw-set bezel fills his left wrist. Specialist observers agree on Hublot's Big Bang case architecture, but the film never gives it a close-up, and published readings disagree on the execution: aBlogtoWatch saw a blue-faced Big Bang "probably" in tantalum and gold, while Theo & Harris read a Big Bang Chronograph "of some variation", so no single reference is supported. Downey has said he wore Bvlgari in the film because of a sponsorship, which makes the Hublot on the doomed convoy ride a curious outlier. (aBlogtoWatch, Theo & Harris, WatchReel)
