A Bvlgari identified only to the maker. The source names the brand, and in some cases a broad type such as a chronograph, but no model line, reference or period is established and no frame resolves the dial. The Roman house has made the double-logo Bvlgari Bvlgari, the sports Diagono, the Scuba diver, the rectangular Rettangolo, the serpent-coiled Serpenti and the ultra-thin Octo Finissimo, which share almost nothing beyond the name, so the brand alone fixes nothing about the object.
Bulgari began as a Greek silversmith's shop in Rome in 1884 and entered watchmaking properly in 1977, when the Bvlgari Bvlgari put the maker's name twice on the bezel and made the signature itself the design. (Bvlgari)
